As the world is experiencing notable person-to-person transmission of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), experts estimate that the majority of people who get this virus may have mild symptoms. However, it can be quite severe for members of our community with underlying health conditions.

Due to recent public health concerns, Oasis: The Center for Mental Health is temporarily suspending in-office visits and our Saturday walk-in services until further notice. Providers are now scheduling appointments to “see” patients via video telehealth means, only. Click here to learn more about how get set up on your PC or smartphone. The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority and we are working diligently to minimize the disruption of critical patient services during this public health threat.

Beginning 3/12/2020, Oasis has decided to suspend all fee penalties for any missed or cancelled appointments not within the required 24-hour notification window.  Until further notice, patients will NOT be charged for missed or cancelled appointments due to illness provided they notify our office via phone.

We kindly ask that you still contact the office as soon as possible to let us know that you will not be coming in so that we can adjust our schedules accordingly in order to get the missed appointment fee waived. We know that you may have waited or planned for this visit, so we will make it a priority to reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better.

In addition, Oasis has also implemented a 2-week grace period for all patients with outstanding balances on their account.   At this time, our management team plans to re-institute normal account collection procedures on March 28th (the date our state government and schools are slated to resume) —  unless, Governor Hogan and/or the Federal Government make any other recommendations or decisions that will effect our ability to resume normal business operations.  We will post any billing policy updates on our website and Facebook pages, so follow those closely!

We appreciate your patience and consideration. Thank you for helping us keep your family, friends and neighbors healthy.
