Diagnostic Psychological Testing

Our psychologist provides comprehensive diagnostic psychological testing to ages 13 and above, when requested, to help determine what is the diagnosis and appropriate treatment. This testing includes the assessment and interpretation. The testing is specific to what needs to be determined, including:

  • ADD
  • Severe mental illness
  • Suicidal tendencies
  • Etc.

Testing can be completed in 45-60 minutes, and a completed report will be available within two weeks. Testing is empirically valid and assesses the following:

  • ADD/ADHD
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Conduct Disorder
  • Drug/Alcohol
  • Hostility
  • Interpersonal Sensitivity
  • Mood symptoms (depression and anxiety)
  • OCD
  • Oppositional-Defiant Disorder
  • PTSD
  • Risk of Suicide
  • Somatization
  • Thought process (paranoia/psychosis)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury

This assessment provides brain-science-based treatment interventions, clearly identifies potential goals of treatment, and includes an audiotherapy program with specific exercises to manage anxiety, distressing thoughts, and occasion a relaxation response (this can be loaded onto an iPhone to help manage test anxiety, etc.).
